Our congregation was organized in 1920. The following year the old church was built and dedicated. The present church was designed and built by Henry Rauch of Orchard Park. The following ministers served Redeemer congregation: Pastor William Klaholt, Pastor Henry Ebelke, Pastor George Schroeder, Pastor Arthur Kleindienst (his wife, Dorothy), Pastor Charles Frenzel (his wife, Eulalia), Pastor Roy Minnix, Jr. (his wife, Anita), Pastor Elton Rengsdorf (his wife, Helen), Pastor Jim Murr (his wife, Karen), Pastor Daniel Wurster (his wife, Kaylin), and now, Pastor Domenick Lettieri (his wife, Nancy). We have been blessed to have these people in our midst in service to our Lord.
Redeemer Lutheran Church is not about the physical building. We are the people of God, worshiping and praising our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod teaches and responds to the love of the Triune God:the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in the ultimate victory over death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God’s Word and Sacraments.
As a Lutheran Missiouri Synod Church we accept and preach the Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. The teaching of Luther and the reformers can be summarized in three phrases: Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone.
Reading the bible and studying the words of our Lord are an important part of our growth as Christians. Check our calendar for dates, times, and locations.
Every Sunday at 10AM children ages 4-13 are invited to join us for Sunday School.
